Stealth Mode Trading: How Prop Firms See Your NinjaView Orders
One of the most common concerns for prop firm traders using automation: will the broker know I'm using a bot? With NinjaView's stealth mode, the answer is no.
How Stealth Mode Works
NinjaView doesn't use NinjaTrader's external ATI (Automated Trading Interface). Instead, the NT8 Add-On uses the internal CreateOrder() API with OrderEntry.Manual classification. This means:
- No ATI flags appear in broker logs
- Orders are classified as "Manual" in NinjaTrader's order records
- No external API calls are visible to your broker
- The execution path is identical to clicking the DOM yourself
What the Broker Sees
A broker reviewing your account activity sees exactly what they would see from a manual trader: orders placed through NinjaTrader Desktop with no automation markers. The webhook signal, Chrome Extension capture, and Add-On processing all happen on your local machine — nothing external touches the broker's systems.
Prop Firm Compatibility
NinjaView has been tested with major prop firms including Apex, MyFundedFutures, Topstep, Bulenox, Earn2Trade, BluSky, TradeDay, Tradeify, and TPT. All supported firms connect through NinjaTrader 8, and NinjaView's stealth mode ensures compliance with their automation policies.
Important Disclaimer
While NinjaView's stealth mode prevents automation flags in broker logs, always review your specific prop firm's terms of service regarding the use of third-party tools. Policies can change, and compliance is ultimately your responsibility.
