NinjaView Chrome Extension v5.2: Pushstream Capture and Alert Filters
The NinjaView Chrome Extension v5.2 introduces a major upgrade to how TradingView alerts are captured and processed. Here's what's new.
Pushstream SSE Capture
Instead of relying solely on webhook URLs, the Chrome Extension now connects directly to TradingView's Server-Sent Events (SSE) pushstream. This means:
- Zero-delay alert capture the instant they fire
- No need to configure webhook URLs in TradingView
- Works with any TradingView alert type, not just webhook-enabled ones
Alert Filters
The new rule-based filtering system lets you control exactly which alerts reach NinjaTrader:
- Contains / Starts With / Regex: Match patterns in alert text
- Allow / Block / Require Confirmation: Three action modes per rule
- Priority ordering: Rules evaluate top-to-bottom, first match wins
Connection Profiles
Save multiple connection profiles — Local, Ngrok, Custom URL — with per-profile settings for account, ticker, quantity, and HMAC secret. Switch between profiles with one click.
5 UI Tabs
The extension popup now features five organized tabs: Main (profile and status), Accounts (NT8 accounts and positions), Filters (alert filter rules), Tools (import/export and debug), and Settings (theme and setup wizard).
