Submit Your NT8 Machine ID

If you haven't already submitted your NT8 Machine ID, please follow these steps:

If you haven't already, you will need to sign up for a free ngrok.com account (video guide).
After creating your free ngrok account, navigate to your authtoken.
Copy your authtoken and save it to a notepad.
Next, navigate to create a domain.
Copy and paste your new domain to the same notepad where your authtoken is stored. Ensure the format looks like "asdf-asdf-bass.ngrok-free.app" and not like "https://asdf-asdf-bass.ngrok-free.app 80". Save this information.
Unpack ngrok-nt8.zip.
Drag ngrok.exe to your Desktop (alternatively, use the .bat file to install ngrok to the proper location).
You will need to remember the location of ngrok.exe for later.
Continue to import the NT8 Add-On.
Open NinjaTrader 8, go to Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On > NinjaviewAddOn.zip (You will want to remove the old add-on if it's been previously installed.)
Now, inside of NinjaTrader 8 (main console), navigate to Tools > Options > Check "Multi-provider".
Next, restart NinjaTrader then go to New > Ninjaview > TradeSync.
There, you can paste your ngrokauthtoken and ngrokdomain.
Remember not to use http or https in the ngrok domain. It should look like free.ngrok-domain.com. Click Save.
Then click Start Hook. You should be prompted to locate ngrok.exe (Your Desktop, if you did not use the .bat file to install ngrok). Click start hook again and you will be prompted with a successful connection or an error message.
