Extension and Application Setup
The Ninjaview extension can be found Here at the chrome store. Download NinjaView.zip file that contains the Windows application. Once downloaded, extract its contents and save them in your preferred location.
Launching the NinjaView Extension
Locate the “NinjaView Extension” in the Chrome Store. Install
Enable the NinjaView Extension
Pin the NinjaView Icon. Navigate to TradingView. Then Refresh the page. Your Gmail and TV Information should automatically be saved and now connected with a green check mark. If you have a red X mark. You will need to repeat the process of refreshing the page.
Webhook
The Webhook feature offers little to no delay (orders are placed in less then 1 second). With fantastic uptime. The webhook feature is the most recommended way of processing alerts.
Auto-Trade
The Auto-Trade feature is to capture and process alerts locally with no use of a Webhook. This method is not the absolute best option but does work. Results may vary. If you are looking for a really fast, no-lagg connection the webhook is recommended. Especially for scalping.
Manual-Trade
The Manual-Trade features allows you to have an adjustable semi-transparent window that you can use to place trades diretly from the TradingView chart straight to NinjaTrader. With no delay.
Launching the NinjaView Application
Locate the “NinjaView Application” folder you previously extracted and run the “NinjaView.exe” file. Upon your first launch, you’ll be greeted with a prompt displaying a serial number and a field to input an activation key. Share this serial number with the NinjaView team to receive your activation key. Once activated, the application will minimize to your system tray. From there, you can right-click the Ninja icon and select “Start Listening”. Transition back to the NinjaView extension in Chrome and activate the “Auto-Trade” mode. For beta users, simply log in with your email for complimentary access. With “Auto-Trade” turned on, the extension will monitor and forward TradingView alerts to Ninja Trader, provided it’s active and running. We highly recommend using theNgrok Webhook feature.
Creating Alerts
You’re all set to configure alerts for your pre-existing pinescript strategy. Alternatively, you can delve into and use any of the provided sample strategies in the HTML documentation folder. We recommend using the strategy (alert_message) system to send alerts. ‘{{strategy.order.alert_message}}’
